TB, I got your package! Sorry for the lack of pictures but the chocolate and mango slices were eaten on the spot. I LOVE zombie Homer and I am going to put stickers on everything for the next week! :)

So a guy just followed Jessi and I with his finger as we walked past him from the bathroom, took a good long look, said “Not strippers” and then continued with his conversation.

Just got a picture message from Angelika with a very rough design for my tattoo. Stoked as hell to get it perfected by tomorrow evening. It already looks so swell!

Do you think “I feel like butt because Four Loko bombs last night were a terrible idea” is a viable reason to miss work?
I accidentally made a comment about “shitty radio rock” to the guy whose favorite band is Hinder. Things were tense in our shared office until I engineered a truce. Haven’t listened to this stuff since 2004.

Anybody in the Tampa Bay area know of any really good traditional tattoo artists?
Just came home to find my paycheck in the mail (along with a valentine, thanks TB!). It’s way bigger than I thought it would be, so beers are on me this weekend, folks!
Things I need to do with my next paycheck:
Chuck at least $200 into savings.
Pay Cooper back.
Replace my headlights. Driving with only one is scary!
Buy Henry Rollins tickets.
New tattoo.

I know I’ve mentioned before that my database at work has information on some famous people but I never really cared much except for the fact that I JUST CALLED TONY THAXTON AHHHHHHHH.

Valentine's Dinner 2012
What a fucking amazing meal. Pink peach soda & gin cocktails. Roasted herbed potatoes with melted swiss & chives. Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto with a balsamic vinegar & brown sugar reduction. And let’s not forget, heart-shaped steak. Boyfriends, step your game up. My roommates won Valentine’s Day this year. Don’t let it happen again.
Two halves of a heart.

I just got Danny the best present. I know we’re not together, but I still obviously care about him a great deal, and it’s something I’ve wanted to get him for a good long while. I have a bit of extra money so I figured I’d go ahead and do it. I can’t wait for him to see it. I know he’s going to be so excited! :)

Oh! would that we were lying side by side in the same grave, hand in hand, and from time to time, in the darkness, gently caressing a finger, — that would suffice for my eternity!

Hey, let’s write the story again, where I’m your lover and best friend. We’ll pack our bags and we’ll leave this old ghost town behind.

My dad took me to see Les Miserables last night.
It was beautiful and magical and overall a really well put-together production. The fact that I have seen this show so many times and it can still make me cry/take my breath away is astounding. This is exactly why I want to work in the theatre for the rest of my life. If I can bring an audience a fraction of the happiness I felt last night, I’m satisfied.

I just came across the email address mattskidude@blahblah.com at work, and my thought process was legitimately as follows:
matt (okay) ski- (OHMYGOD, IS IT?) dude (oh.)
File under: Miriam listens to too much Alkaline Trio.

Someone please save me. I have been here for two hours and these 15-year-olds are already killing me. I think I’m going to create a compilation of all the best things I hear during the course of this show.
“I really like Simple Plan. Have you heard of them? Nobody at my school knows who Simple Plan is.”
“I love Spring Awakening! I really want to see it because Rachel...

Book #2: The 39 Steps by Patrick Barlow
It took me a while to decide whether or not I was going to include plays in my “25 Books in 2012” challenge. I came to the conclusion that since I do spend a great deal of time reading (and re-reading, and re-re-reading) the plays that I’m currently working on, I would count them as books and they would go toward my 25. Anyway, I’m getting off topic.
Being a big Alfred...
